Put your Products on Lasoo Case Study: Briscoes

Situation

Briscoes were publishing their printed catalogues on our Lasoo website. However, the catalogue offers represented just a small portion of the products available in store and online. While Briscoes were happy with the performance of the digital catalogue, they wanted to increase the range of product listings available to visitors on Lasoo.

Task

To increase engagement levels and interaction with Briscoes products published on the Lasoo website. Ultimately, to increase the number of online and offline transactions.

Action

Along with Briscoes’ technical partner, we developed a direct XML feed to Lasoo of all the products available for purchase on the Briscoes website. Each product listing included links to the [Reachmedia powered] Store Locator to drive store visits and ‘buy now’ links to relevant product pages on the Briscoes transactional website.

Result

The introduction of XML feeds to compliment the Briscoes catalogue listings expanded the number of products viewable on Lasoo from 150 listings to over 5000. This resulted in a 30% increase in product interactions, a 60% increase in the use of the store locators and over 50% increase in Catalogue pages viewed. In addition to this, the XML feed generates 26% of the Briscoes buy now purchases on Lasoo.
